Collector Cars Wanted

I am probably going to sell my 1998 Toyota 4runner on Ebay and wanted to know if I can actually get the vehicle certified myself to enhance the value as it is in such good condition. Is there a company that will do that and give you some form of rating on the car in a certificate? Also is it a good idea to purchase a CARFAX report on the backround of the car to show the Title is clean and accident free? I figured since the car is so clean and mechanically perfect that something like this would help me get higher bids. Any suggestions is much appreciated.

I am a very good salesman. I am about to look for a job at a new car lot. I have never been a car salesman, but have alot of experience buying cars. I’m not looking for opinions on car salesmen, only facts about which is the best dealerships to work for. Ex. Volume dealers etc? Toyota or Chevrolet? Also what should I expect out of my commission salary??

After I purchased a used car, I realized I was charged for extra options that I did not want. Also, the interest rate was higher than they quoted, they only gave me trade in value for my car but charged me wholesale for their car. I realize I signed the paperwork. My stupidity, their dishonesty. I can’t find out if I have a time frame in which to change my mind and return the car. I have contacted them and their response was, you signed the paperwork to purchase this car.

Is it better to get it financed thru the dealership or to get it elsewhere? I’ve heard different answers on this. Some say that the dealers give you the best deals but I heard that it’s better to go through other financial institutions. I financed my car thru Honda and got a 7.99% APR. Does that seem high? I was wondering if I would’ve gotten a lower APR if I would have done my own research and got it through another source.

I have a 1997 Buick LeSebra. I’ve been thinking getting a newer one and trading it in. But saddly it’s broken on the way today. No damage. Only something’s wrong and there was a little smoke from under the hook. Now it couldn’t start well. I don’t plan to repair it any more.

I would like to get the most out of it. so should I sell it to a dealer or other junk cars collectors? do you guys have any better ideas. Also I’m wondering if a dealer would buy it without me buying any cars from them.

I don’t want to buy from a dealer cuz it’s soo sleazy. I see that there are a lot of cars on craigslist for cheap, like under or around 1000 dollars. What questions should I ask about the car that are important when deciding to buy? I konw that with a car this cheap I cant be too picky. Should I have a carfax done on the kinda car? Any major warning signs other than the car not running or some aweful noise? Thanks!

i am selling a car on craigs list and each person who seems interested tells me that they are going to give me a check for the car and the payment for the tranportation is this normal or should they pay it themselves.

I am currently selling a used car in NJ and the buyer wants me to list a sales price of $100 on the title so he does not have to pay for the bulk of the taxes when he goes to register a car to the DMV. Is it OK to do this? Will this have any effect on me as the Seller in the long haul? BTW, the sales price of the car is $5000.
