   Most of those early Mustangs didn’t have power steering did they? They also possibly didn’t have power brakes either most of them.The Cobra Replicas most of them don’t have power steering either or power brakes.They are probably light enough not to have it or need it. What is it like not having power steering on those early Mustangs.The one i took an engine out of was a rust machine it wasn’r runnable.

   It was a convertible it had a 289 and a c-4automatic transmission. It was rusted out really bad.I steered it when it was pulled by another vehicle and the steering didn’t feel hard and it was a manual steering system.

   It looked like about a 1970 Model it had the body style with the setback headlights in it.What year did they stop using a 289 engine iam thinking around 1970 was the last year they used a 289 engine in Mustangs. Someone could have put the 289 in it also.
