I have a house full of junk too!
A large collection of bric-a-brac from various ancestors and things I found. These are things I will never sell.
Old DJ gear. Amps and turntables, Cassette decks and speakers!
I gave my mics away. (Dumbaasss)
I have a large (300+) collection of Rock, R&B, Blues and Punk LP’s and Cassette Tapes, which I’m still adding to.
I just bought a very clean example of the double LP soundtrack from the 1980 movie Times Square. New Wave and Punk.
Rare Item, 4 of the songs are only available on this LP.
I have ZERO Bee Gee or Disco Records. Yuck.
I also have a small collection of Vintage Boomboxes, the kind with aux inputs and at least one Cassette Deck. Made before 1980. They haven’t made a boombox worth a crap since then.
The crap they call boomboxes these days have bridged amps and thin wire. They fall apart if you look at them wrong. They Look like Eggs for crying out loud!
The old boxes have inputs in case you want to jam to your MP3 player.
Right now I’m kind of broke from having NO JOB, but I hope to add to the pile when I finally get one.

I collected Coke items, Coke radios, Coke advertising tins, puzzles, yo yo, little Coke tins with candles, dollies, a large Coke clock that lights up,anything with Coke, I still have them. I also collected advertising tins some of which I have on a pie safe in my kitchen, I enjoyed collecting but eventually you run out of room, some I will keep others I need to get rid of, time to down size. Remember when a glass bottle of Coke was 5 cents?

    Slide Rules.
I can’t pay the earth to have them but I am looking for one particular rule and if I do find it; someone may have there way with me. Normally I just pick them up at yard sales and thrift stores. I very seldom pay more that a dollar or two for a nice rule and I don’t buy any that are not in fairly good condition. The needn’t be NEW but they must be complete and all scales must be readable from end to end.
I also have a few antique tools. I add to that collection if and only if the seller has no idea what they have and I can get something for nearly nothing.

    I collect angel figurines.
I collect post cards from everywhere and have a pretty extensive collection.
I collect cups and saucers from different places. I have some really gorgeous sets. I collect black and white cow things.
I also have tons of books, mostly novels.

My S/O has a whole garage full of matchbox cars, hot wheels, and all odd assortments of collectible cars and car paraphernalia. Many of them are Porsche and other Euro styles, as he use to be a Porsche race car driver.
I have been begging him to start getting rid of these. For two reasons. First, if anything should happen to him, I would not know where to start and secondly, in this economy, who couldn’t use some extra money. I don’t know how to go about doing this , if you have ideas (other than Ebay) I would love to hear from you by e mail. Thanks

Post cards. I have some that my grandparents saved from the turn of the 20th century. Most have wonderful messages with beautiful handwriting. I just returned from Alaska and bought a few there for my collection. I also buy some from Ebay. One of the best sets I have are black and white cards from the early days of Knotts Berry Farm in So. California.

I collect the Golden Books. Guess I don’t look for any more and only have a few but I treasure them because of the illustrator Eloise Wilken. One Christmas while shopping in a book store there was a coffee table book of her and thought after the holidays I’d go back and get it….it was gone and so far haven’t found it again. I just keep my eyes open for it and who knows, I may just see it again.

teddy bears…. my best friend in my early life was a teddy bear… I’ve always loved them… then a neighbor and friend introduced me to the Boyd’s Bears…. I lost my heart and my mind over them!…. I collect them and the best of the bears that I find that have ‘expressions’ on their faces…. and some that just need to be loved…the grandies love my ‘treasure room’ where the bears live….

I collect tea cups. I think they are so pretty and delicate. I have a special cabinet in the dinning room where I keep them on display. I have several tea pots also in the same cabinet. My daughter sent me some from Germany and France when they were over seas. Poppy

Decorative boxes of all sorts-carved, painted, inlaid wood, or metal, or tins. I decorate with them and they are also functional, can keep tea, coffee, photos, pens, etc. in them too.

I save things that might come in handy later, then I forget where I put them. So much for saving!!! As for collecting things, I really don’t. Although I have a lot of stuff!!!! God bless you.

I have a pair (or two, or three!) of earrings from almost every place I’ve visited. I have to have at least 500 pairs, no joke! And they’re always being put to use because I have 7 holes in my ears.

I have always loved elephants. Don’t collect them for potential monetary value. I like glass and porcelain eggs, and I did have a very nice miniature shoe collection.

I cannot resist angel figurines. I have them scattered around the house. I probably should put them in a cabinet of some sort.
Hubby cannot resist fishing lures. He could start his own tackle shop.
