I have been pre-sold a new car on 08/04/06, but I have still not taken the delivery of the vehicle as the dealer does not have that in stock.
I want to know whether I can cancell the car sale contract?

Yea you can go down and cancel at anytime if you havent taken delivery

The deal ain’t done ’til the fat lady sings. And the fat lady sings when you have the keys in your hand. No delivery, no deal. That simple!
That’s one reason that dealers HATE to do factory orders or swaps. You have time at home to change your mind and there’s nothing that they can do about it!

If you have not driven the car off the lot, you can cancel the contract. Once you drive the car off the car lot it becomes a used car.

you tell them you want to cancel this contract. If you have no recieved the car that mean’s you have no responsiblity but only thing you have to cancel it. It might have a time length you have to cancel it for. Go as soon as you can.. good luck
