I signed the car title and gave it to him. This is my first time selling a car. It still runs. Is there anything else I need to do to cover my butt incase they use my old car to rob a bank or get in wreck and leave the car at the scene? If the authorities come to me and say my car was involved what do I need to do to prove it’s not my car any more?

soo….i had this dream of owning a CLASSIC mucle car AKA legend on wheels {[1970 dodge challenger,, 1970 plymouth cuda,, 1962 camaro ss isnt really my type too square lookin like to me but woah...that b**ch got power and we all know it....]}
so get a broken down one,,restore it and cherish as my own child….but how much would an original or fitting engine,,how much WOULD it cost and where could i find one??even the car period??
i looked through the listings where i am but nothing closer than VA,,CA,,FL or places like that….

What car should I get as a collector?

I’m not sure if I should get a 2002 Ram Air Trans Am a 1997 Vette or a 1975/76Corvette. I know the old Corvette is already “aged”, but the Trans Am is more reliable since it’s newer. Trans Am is about 10K, 1997 Corvette is 15K and 1975 Vette is 13K. Please help me decide with reasons and personal views or experience.

Can a debt collector take my car?

I had an overdue credit card debt that turned into a judgment against me 2 years ago. So far no wage garnishment has taken place becuase they don’t know where I work. recently, Dept. of licensing notified me that they (collectors)were requesting information on if I owned a vehicle. Can the collectors take my vehicle if I’m ONLY the registered owner and not the legal owner? My mom is the Legal owner and there is no lien against it. Your help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
