Why is the Collector’s Edition Sims 3 sooo expensive?

I know it’s “collector’s edition” but that includes a keychain and a special download of a car as well as pre-ordering. It is 69.95! And I haven’t even seen the regular edition of it being available? Why would they pay that much to buy it 3 months early?
Should I get the Sims 3: Collector’s Edition or just the game itself?

I wanna get the Sims 3, this June, and I don’t know if the Collector’s Edition is worth it. I do know that it comes with the 2GB drive, the downloadable cars, and other stuff. Should I even consider getting the CE? Or just the game itself? Also, is the CE only available for
pre-orders, or will I also be able to buy the CE after it comes out.
What do you think?

I have bought my new game but I want to install it on my 2 computers and redeem my code given in the box to download the European Sports Car twice. Can I do that? Or is it a one-time download?
