What do you need to get a first time car loan WITH a cosigner?

Hi! I am wanting to buy my first car. I’m 18 years old and the car I want is about $15,000. I just got a job (I have had other jobs before but not for the past 2 months) but I don’t start for another 3 weeks. I will be earning about $600 a month. I have NO other bills to pay, and my parents will be giving me the money for insurance and HALF of the car payment, so paying it will be no problem.
I need to apply for a loan, and I WILL have a cosigner with excellent credit (my dad). I know it varies from place to place, but in general, will I need to have worked at my job for a certain amount of time before I can get a loan? Also, can I put down what my parents give me as additional income when applying for loans? THANKS so much!

soo….i had this dream of owning a CLASSIC mucle car AKA legend on wheels {[1970 dodge challenger,, 1970 plymouth cuda,, 1962 camaro ss isnt really my type too square lookin like to me but woah...that b**ch got power and we all know it....]}
so get a broken down one,,restore it and cherish as my own child….but how much would an original or fitting engine,,how much WOULD it cost and where could i find one??even the car period??
i looked through the listings where i am but nothing closer than VA,,CA,,FL or places like that….

currently i just want to purchase a used car because there is a good deal online and i want to buy it before someone else buys it…my question is do i NEED insurance to switch the registration to me…can i purchase the car…and reserve it or something???
because i do not have enough money atm for insurance but have enough for the used car…i want to buy it before someone else buys it.
I need a car and fast anyone had experience of car finance in UK?

I’m twenty and the only credit history I have is from a credit card. Would I be able to get a $16,000 car financed without someone signing for me, if I put a down payment of $5,000 down?
Selling car & have current CA smog cert from biannual inspection. Do I need another one just to sell?

I’ve read the CA DMV transfer title page over & over. It doesn’t really answer my question: I want to sell my 1991 car. I have a smog cert. good for another 8 months. But do I have to get a new one just to sell?

I’m planning on buying a new car with the help of my parents with a budget of about 20,000. I need help choosing between a Dodge Caliber, Toyota Prius, and Volkswagen Rabbit. The Caliber is my dad’s pick, the Prius because its the cheapest hybrid, and the Rabbit because its a small car with a lot of power. I don’t mind buying Certified Pre Owned, especially with the Prius. So please help me choose!!! Let me know your opinion or some pros and cons!!

Basically my situation is I have no financial discipline. I filed for bakruptcy in October 2005… Since then I have not gotten any more credit cards, so I am hoping this is a good thing. I am employed full-time at a new job but haven’t been able to save anything since I started six months ago. My credit is not the best and I don’t know what my score is. I do not have any investments (stocks, 401k, mutual funds etc) and I don’t know where to start with these. I do have a small retirement fund (PERS) that I am investing in through my job and have about $1200 in there so far. I just don’t know what to do for my retirement and to get my income on track. I would like to save money and grow personal wealth but I don’t have the tools/knowledge to do so. I have not yet purchased a home, and have a very minimal car payment, do not have a checking/debit acct (living in the stone ages), and have one savings acct with nothing in it… Does anyone have any suggestions to get me on track?

I’m in the beginning stages of planning a ski and snowboard vacation for the end of the year. I live in California, but I’m planning on visiting either Colorado or Utah (not sure which yet!) My question is this: I’m going to be flying to my destination, but do I need to rent a car to get between my hotel and the ski resorts or can I just use shuttles? (I’m not even sure if I’m going to stick to one mountain yet or try a few different ones, so I might need to travel between THEM as well.) Also, if I absolutely do need to rent a car, what kind should I get? There will only be two of us, but we’ll have all our gear.
