i have about a 1000 bucks and am looking for a good running car, although a grand aint alot of money i need a place like a website where i can find a nice used car, other then craigslist lol because everytime i email someone its already sold haha. i live in omaha ne so anywhere close would be great. any ideas or sujjestions would be nice too!

On Labor Day I bought the 2005 Nissan Murano I had leased from the Nissan dealership and have a sale and finance contract. Yesterday the salesman called telling me the dealership had to pay the leasing company a 350.00 transfer fee and I had to reimburse them. The Leasing company was closed on Labor Day, so such fees were unknown. Am I liable for the extra fees or is that the dealership’s problem?

I have been pre-sold a new car on 08/04/06, but I have still not taken the delivery of the vehicle as the dealer does not have that in stock.

So I lost the contract and they committed fraud and I am going to sue them (they don’t know yet) So My question is that if i should call and nicely ask for another copy or can they say no??? I mean they don’t know I am planning on suing them. thanks

I refuse to buy from a dealer because I’ve sold cars before and I know what they’re taught to do and I’ll end up kicking someone in the teeth. I have a bankruptcy for a 100,000 laser back surgery I had after a car accident. It’s prob not much more than a year old, if that.. and I want to get approved over the internet. I want a USED car from a private party seller. I really only need 5000-6000 but everywhere requires a min of 7500

i had a car registered at Nevada DMV. i sold it in Phoenix, AZ, to a dealer for cash on the way out to the airport in 2004 and was contacted by a debt collector January 2008 saying that “my car” owed towing money from Summer 2007. i haven’t received any tax bills from Nevada DMV after i called in but can’t remember if i followed up with the release of liability which is evidently not recorded publicly. if i cant get DMV to help me, what’s my best recourse to say no to this debt collection without damage to my credit?
thank you very much, oklatom, my problem is that more than likely i no longer have details of the dealer especially the receipt. i was under much duress at that time and had no idea.

i am not even in the States and wont be able to attend court proceedings (just for a mere 1,800 bucks!)

as i am writing this, i can already see the “simplest” way out: negotiate the debt down to several hundred dollars or something so it can be made worth their time…

There are tons of websites to find good running vehicles but I’m looking for a place to search for vehicles in need of an engine. I have a car with a blown tranny and a horrible interior/ exterior that has a perfectly fine engine. I’ve been looking for a car with a blown engine or no engine bust cant find a place to search for one. any suggestions?

My brother and his wife bought a car over the weekend from Bob Roman Honda in Lafayette, Indiana.
The manager took them into his office, they signed a binding contract for the purchase and the loan (I saw it) and drove it home.
Well on Monday the dealership called and said they needed to come in and “rewrite” the contract.
When they got there, they were presented a loan with almost 2 percentage point higher and required an additional $750
Well since they didn’t have any more cash to put down they couldn’t buy the car.
The next day the dealer called again and said that they needed to pay for the mileage they drove the car.
It already had about a 1.000 miles on a new car and they put on an additional 100 on it.
Guess what, it came to $750 and the manager said it could be added to the loan.
How can they renegotiate a contract after the fact?

THE OFFER IS used cars to be sold for 1495 MOST OF THE USED CARS OF THIS DEALER (LYNNES NISSAN, BLOOMFIELD, NJ) WILL BE SOLD FOR THIS PRICE NO MORE NO LESS, SUPOSLY CUZ THEY NEED ROOM FOR THE NEW VEHICLES, BUT IT SAYS THAT THE SELL WILL BE ONLY FROM 7.30 AM TO 10.30 AM AND I HEARD THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT CAME LAST TIME THEY DID THIS, CAME LIKE AT 3 AND 4 IN THE MORNING TO GET THE BEST CARS AND SOME DIDNT GET ANYTHING CUZ THE LINE WAS HUGE, SO THE QUESTION ACTUALLY IS: SHOULD I DO IT? I HAVE THE MONEY FOR IT, AND I DONT WORK THE NEXT DAY, SO SHOULD I GO THE NIGHT BEFORE TO DO THE LINE OR DO YU GUYS THINK IT WILL BE A WASTE OF TIME?? SHOULD I SACRIFICE MY SLEEP FOR THE CAR I WANT??

We were helping aged mother buy a used car. With a quick sleight of hand, used car dealer dismissed the fact that the DMV paperwork showed the car value $2,000 less than her actual contract sell price. No biggie? Or a dirty little way to stiff the State out of sales tax and pocket the difference?
I suspect that this practice is “institutionalized” within this dealership. Is it worthy to report this abuse and to whom?

I am going to be buying a car from a guy I saw online selling it on an online forum. I am going to have a car transport setup to send the car to me from it’s location. I am getting the title and bill of sale and I think I’ll use paypal to send him the money.
